The role of a company Director can be both challenging and rewarding. Like learning to drive a car, there are a number of elements to being a Company Director; knowledge (the theory) then skills and application (actually driving the car).
The Board Smart® e-learning programme focuses primarily on the essential knowledge needed to understand key aspects of the role, responsibilities, obligations and the liabilities of being a Company Director. The syllabus is not intended to be definitive but it will provide a thorough understanding of the legal, statutory, regulatory and fiduciary requirements to perform the role as a Company Director.
